Our Farm

We are blessed and privileged to farm on land that has been tended to
with regenerative and organic principles for around 30 years.

For us, farming is more than just a job.

Growing food and flowers is our heart-work.
Our soul-work.
Our responsibility.
Our gift.

Our farming has evolved out of our deep personal desires to contribute to a healthier earth. We carefully consider every aspect of our growing practices.

In traditional agriculture, the soil is the mother. She's the mother who gives, to whom you must give back.

Our farming practices

Our farming ethic begins with listening to, observing and working with nature.

We are outside with our plants and animals every day, tuning in to their needs and finding opportunities for better management.

With a background in permaculture, the ethics of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share are integral to our approach.

We are inspired to create abundance around us, through regenerative and expansive farming practices, rooted in a deep commitment to self responsibility and family centered living.

We are Certified Naturally Farmed and our greater farmscape is Certified Organic. We don't use pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or synthetic fertilisers. We use only organic inputs, including locally made compost.

We recognise the aliveness of the soil and life around us and work to cultivate a rich tapestry of living organisms working in symbiosis for thriving systems.

In more recent years we have become focused on minimising soil disruption and are transitioning from minimal till tractor-farming to no-till gardens. With the assistance of cover crops and mulch, we aim to keep the soil covered year-round.

We grow outside in the open, without any large greenhouses or tunnels to protect our crops / alter the season and we have certainly experienced our fair share of unpredictable weather situations over the last few years. Crippling droughts, flooding, bush fires and wild hailstorms to mention a few.

This life isn't for the faint hearted! It sure can be a lot of work, constantly flowing with the seasons and time management challenges, plant and animal needs, weather conditions, not to mention personal and family needs etc.

And yet it's also deeply expansive spiritual work and we couldn't possibly imagine doing anything different!

We are filled with gratitude that we are supported to live this life, a life of dedication to the earth and humanity, a life of creating abundance for all.

In gratitude,
Holly, Bec and Justin
